Managing Monitored Sites

What Sites Are Monitored?

The bot continuously monitors 70+ Shopify stores for new products and restocks. Sites are organized by category and send notifications to specific Discord channels.

Viewing Monitored Sites

Command: /sites

Displays a complete list of all currently monitored sites.

Site Monitoring Details

Monitoring Frequency

• Check interval: Every 5 seconds

• Full product scan: Each cycle fetches up to 250 products

• Collection-specific: Some URLs monitor specific collections only

What Gets Monitored

✅ Monitored:

• New product additions

• Product restocks (variants coming back in stock)

• Price changes (notifications only, doesn't affect ACOs)

❌ Not Monitored:

• Product updates (description changes)

• Image changes

• Product removals

Restock Timeout

To prevent spam, restocks have a 10-second timeout (configurable):

• Product restocks → Notification sent → 10s cooldown

• Prevents duplicate notifications for rapid stock fluctuations

Adding New Sites

Command: /add_site

Request a new Shopify site be added to monitoring.

Requirements:

• Site must be Shopify-based

• Site must be publicly accessible (no password protection)

• Suggestion creates a GitHub PR for admin approval

Usage:

1. Type /add_site

2. Site: Enter the full URL

   • Include https://

   • Can paste full product URL or homepage

   • Bot will normalize to proper format

3. Channel: Select notification channel

   • Determines which Discord channel gets webhooks

   • Choose based on site category

Examples:

✅ GOOD:

newsite.com (missing https://)
http://newsite.com (use https)

What Happens After Submission

1. Validation: Bot checks if site is Shopify-based

   • Visits site.com/admin to verify Shopify

   • Checks if site is already monitored

2. GitHub PR Created: Your request creates a pull request

   • Requires admin approval

   • Typically reviewed within 24-48 hours

3. Approval: Admin merges PR

   • Site is added to config

   • Bot restarts and begins monitoring

   • Typically goes live within 5-10 minutes

4. Confirmation: You'll receive a Discord notification

   • Site added successfully

   • Or rejection reason if not approved

Common Rejection Reasons

"Site doesn't appear to be a Shopify site"

• Site is not Shopify-based (WooCommerce, Magento, custom, etc.)

• Bot only supports Shopify stores

"Site already monitored"

• Check /sites for existing monitoring

• Site might be listed with different URL format (with/without www)

"Site requires password"

• Password-protected stores cannot be monitored

• Wait until public release or password removal

Discount Codes

Some sites have automatic discount codes applied:

• Eastside Comics: BATMAN

• The Comic Mint: sanders

• Manamoon: FARFA5

• Little Sleepies: LSVIP

• G Fuel: ACE

• Vault X: STEELOKRI

These are automatically applied to CyberAIO tasks.

Site-Specific Checkout Modes

Some sites use "Fast" mode instead of "Safe":

This is handled automatically by the bot.

Collection vs. Full Site Monitoring

Full Site (most sites):

https://shop.eminem.com/

Monitors ALL products on the store

Collection-Specific (some sites):

https://acrylipics.com/collections/special-editions/
https://zulusgames.com/collections/pokemon/

Monitors only products in that specific collection

Notification Channels

Sites send webhook notifications to different Discord channels:

Troubleshooting

Site not responding to ACOs

1. Verify site is monitored: /sites

2. Check blacklists: /badkws and /site_blacklistkeywords

3. Test with broad keywords: Use generic terms first

4. Check notification channel: Webhook may be disabled

Site monitoring seems slow

• Normal check interval is 5 seconds

• Some sites may take longer if they have many products

• Bot may be restarting (wait 1-2 minutes)

Requested site not added

• Check GitHub PR status (if you have access)

• Wait 48-72 hours for admin review

• Site may have been rejected (non-Shopify, already monitored, etc.)

Product appeared but no notification

• Product may contain blacklisted keywords

• Webhook channel may be misconfigured

• Check if product is in monitored collection (for collection-specific URLs)

Best Practices

1. Check existing sites first: Use /sites before requesting new sites

2. Request with proper URLs: Include https:// and verify site is Shopify

3. Choose appropriate channels: Select the channel that matches site category

4. Monitor collection URLs when possible: Reduces false positives for large stores

5. Report dead sites: Let admins know if monitored sites shut down
